Way back in 1998, Dombivli was a city with number of Junior & Degree Colleges accommodating thousands of students. However, there was not even a single college which could cater to the needs of employed youth. The Rashtriya Shikshan Sanstha rose to the occasion & started its night college in 1998, thus claiming a rare distinction of pioneering the Night College Concept in Thane district of Maharashtra. Within a short span of time, our college has become an instrument in providing access to Higher Education to employed for promotion in job or social status & thereby transforming the social fabric of the area.

The OBJECTIVES of the college are as follows:

  1. To provide education to the students who are employed during day time for one or the other reason and thereby giving effect to the maxim “ Learn while you earn”.
  2. To provide the education to all those, who are deprived from the mainstream educational facilities.
  3. To impart education mainly to employed, by working in a different time frame, but making available to the students everything a day college gets.
  4. To provide higher education to socially and economically less privileged sections of the society.
